Komi Can’t Communicate
This is how anime should be.
This is how anime should be.
If I could write this review in a whisper, it would be very appropriate. Imagine, the text being so quiet that you have to get really close to the screen to read it. So close in fact that both you and the electronic device become uncomfortable with the proximity. Hilarious no?
Jou-jou-yuujou magi magi kaichou! This whole review could be the translation of that entire second half opening and pretty sufficiently describe this show. Other possibilities include me simply repeating “Omg, what is this?” as I close my mouth previously agape with shock and laugh my head off, tears rolling down my face.
This isn’t the kind of harem anime that you meet out in the streets and be like “Hey how you doing? How’s the family?” This is the kind of harem anime that you meet, you look at it, it looks at you, and then it proceeds to chase wildly after you all the way back to your inexpensive residence, whereupon, […]
This is not harem. This is raging steroid harem.
Kono hentai yaro.
What do I think of Shimoneta? I think it’s perhaps one of the stupidest, most shameless, mind-numbingly insane, funniest shows ever made! This show fires off one hilarious bit of dialogue one after the other. And each one is the extreme of suggestive!
If this was supposed to be a boob show, it wasn’t. If this was supposed to be school action/fantasy, it wasn’t. If this was supposed to be romance, it wasn’t. If this was supposed to drama, comedy, underdog tale, harem, I don’t know, it wasn’t. In short, this show wasn’t much of anything. A little bit of everything poorly done […]
Yuri is one of the most interesting genres in anime. It’s not new, but it feels like it has the most unexplored territory, in a genre sense. Romance literature spans a spectrum from drama to comedy, but yuri (and yaoi) alter that established spectrum. If the romance spectrum spans in two dimensions, yuri and yaoi expand it into a third […]
Karamiatte, ubaiatte, damashiatte, sarashiatte, motomeatte, kuruiatte!
It’s playtime! Today’s game is Word of the Day! And today’s word is: REPROBATE.
Spring is the time for love! Ao Haru Ride, literally meaning “Blue Spring Ride,” is a sweet little anime about the reblooming love between two young people who have been separated for a while but find themselves thrown back together. This is a great example of a romance anime that improves as the series progresses. If you stick with it, […]
“What the hell are those two doing?!?” You’ll be wondering the same thing along with whoever happens to be saying that at the moment many times during this crazy anime! This show isn’t zany, but it maintains a near constant level of comedy, and will have you falling out of your chair at times! Fun characters, nicely arranged storylines, and […]
Sounds hilarious right? I imagined an Eikichi Onizuka (GTO) type spewing highly inappropriate nonsense at students in a magic academy setting. I was prepared to be entertained! But it wasn’t meant to be. This show doesn’t know who it is. It’s not really comedy, not really fantasy, not really action, just kind of lost in the middle of it all. […]
