The Duke of Death and His Maid
Good CGI does exist. And yet that’s not even close to being the best thing about this show.

What a magnificent mixture of slice of life and rom-com and a little mystery and total cuteness! This show is full of heartwarming moments and beautiful characters. It’s so simple yet so sweet, I looked forward to this every week as I watched the simulcasts. You wouldn’t think a show that dwells on the ordinary as much as this one […]
This show knows what it is and doesn’t give a hoot whether you like it or not! But I do like it.
Vermeil in Gold is a nice little anime about a 600-year old demoness who falls in love with a freshman high school boy, whereupon she proceeds to suck his face—and everything else—off as often as possible all while they learn about each other and the child gets stronger and they fight cliche bad guys, and, and, and….
I was fully prepared to detest this anime. The premise is ridiculous. I ended up enjoying it. While it’s not the best rom-com ever made, it’s a very sweet experience overall.
There is only one great thing about this anime, and the rest is very ordinary. But that one thing is so exceptional I must say I haven’t seen anything quite like it ever before.
“Put that ass away!”

The phrase “short and sweet” was made for this anime. Emphasis on “sweet.”
This isn’t the kind of harem anime that you meet out in the streets and be like “Hey how you doing? How’s the family?” This is the kind of harem anime that you meet, you look at it, it looks at you, and then it proceeds to chase wildly after you all the way back to your inexpensive residence, whereupon, […]
This is not harem. This is raging steroid harem.
Imagine if you were hired to tutor five identical quintuplets!
“What the hell are those two doing?!?” You’ll be wondering the same thing along with whoever happens to be saying that at the moment many times during this crazy anime! This show isn’t zany, but it maintains a near constant level of comedy, and will have you falling out of your chair at times! Fun characters, nicely arranged storylines, and […]
It’s apt that the final episode revolves around a game. Soccer is the quintessential game for children growing into young adults. It involves everybody, has a simple set of rules and one objective. It’s a good microcosm for young people learning about how to deal with romance in a school environment. And Tsuredure Children is all about these children and […]
