You’re watching this show, and you feel for these poor kids. They make their lives very difficult, and make tons of bad choices. But you’re experienced. You’ve seen these sad romantic shows. Somehow it will all work out in the end. Not this time!
“There are things inside me that would please and terrify you. Both are there. Do you still want to look inside?” Very pretty and very heartfelt, Citrus makes a good case for being definitive of the yuri genre. All routes lead to doom! Our poor protagonist (antagonist?) finds herself reincarnated into an otome game where she’s the villain! In a rarer form of isekai where a girl finds herself transported to a new world, this show is funny and fast-paced with amazing characters and beautiful artwork. Definitely one of my favorites from theContinue reading “My Next Life as a Villainess”
Fun, pretty, artistic, and yuri. And those really, really, REALLY weird faces. This is a masterpiece! This is a magnificent mixture of slice of life and rom-com and a little mystery and total cuteness! This show is full of heartwarming moments and beautiful characters. A beautiful opening too. It’s so simple yet so sweet, I looked forward to this every week when it came out. This isContinue reading “Tonikawa: Over the Moon for You”
Golden Time is a slice of life/romance genre anime, featuring a fairly small amount of great characters, a simple plot, and fine artwork. I very much enjoyed watching it. I would not rank it as high as some similar anime I’ve seen, but it was still quite good and enjoyable.
