I’m Standing on a Million Lives

I honestly watched this show because I knew Chiwa Saito was playing Kahabell (the sadistic knight if you’re not super familiar with the names yet). I have some mixed feelings about it. Anything she touches I’m going to like usually. Overall I’ve enjoyed this show. I wasn’t quite sure after S1 ended, but S2 pleased me in a lot of […]

To Your Eternity

Few of us will ever experience what it feels like to fall in love at first sight. But here, in To Your Eternity, I think we all got just a little glimpse of what that feels like. The instantaneous power this show exercised over viewers’ emotions was extraordinary. And while it inevitably ebbed and flowed, it nevertheless created new powerful […]

Shimoneta

What do I think of Shimoneta? I think it’s perhaps one of the stupidest, most shameless, mind-numbingly insane, funniest shows ever made! This show fires off one hilarious bit of dialogue one after the other. And each one is the extreme of suggestive!

86

We’ve had enough of these essay-length titles! Let’s just use a random number for a title! I guess it’s a random number. If there’s significance to the “86” itself, I didn’t find it in this show. Higehiro

Hige o Soru, Soshite Joshi Kousei o Hirou is another of those modern anime afflicted with a paragraph for a title. I don’t understand how we went from single word titles to “After Being Rejected, I Shaved and Took in a High School Student.” You see this extra-long-name thing in the memes all the time now, it’s gotten to such […]

Mars Red

I like this anime for a small handful of reasons. Otherwise it’s just confusing and therefore impossible to like or really even dislike overall.

Vivy: Fluorite Eye’s Song

I took one look at this title and thought: none of these words go together. It sounded enough like music anime that I decided not to watch it during Spring 2021. Most of you are aware of my general dislike for music anime. So this was a no for me initially. Then I saw the rumors, that this was one […]

Zombie Land Saga

It’ll make you laugh, it’ll make you cry, it’ll make you cringe! And sometimes, all three at once! Zombie Land Saga is one of the funniest yet emotionally charged combos you’ll ever see. With an amazing cast of characters, pretty artwork, and simple but crazy but effective story, this one will have you on the edge of your seat, sometimes […]
